Bands of the carnival

Caribana was built by volunteers, steelbands and masqueraders. This directory points to the mas bands, steelbands and soca voices that carry that tradition in Toronto today, each with a link to their own page.

Caribana began in 1967. Today's Toronto parade is organized by the Festival Management Committee under the name Toronto Caribbean Carnival. The bands below take part in that tradition. Descriptions come from each band's own public pages, so where a band describes itself, we say so.

Mas bands

A mas band designs costumes and brings hundreds or thousands of masqueraders onto the road. These are the ten bands the Festival Management Committee lists for 2026.
